This page explains what information Tip Split collects and how it is used. Tip Split is a simple bill-splitting and tip calculator. It does not require an account, does not collect names or payment information, and all calculations happen directly in your browser.
Tip Split does not ask you to create an account, log in, or provide personal details. Bill amounts, tip percentages, and the number of people you enter are used only to calculate a result on your screen and are not stored, transmitted, or saved anywhere.
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses this data, and opt out of personalised advertising, at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, Google requires sites like this one to obtain your consent before using cookies for personalised ads. Where that applies, a consent prompt is shown before any such cookie is set, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site.
Tip Split does not run any analytics or tracking of its own. No visit data, page views, or usage statistics are collected by this site outside of what Google AdSense itself may log in order to serve and measure ads, which is covered above.
This site loads the IBM Plex Mono typeface from Google Fonts. Loading a font this way means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which may log standard technical information such as your IP address, in line with Google's own privacy policy.
Tip Split uses a service worker to let the calculator keep working without an internet connection after your first visit. This only stores the site's own pages and icons on your device for that purpose; it does not collect or transmit any personal data.
Some pages may link to external sites (for example, sources referenced in the tipping guide). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
If you have questions about this policy, you can reach the site owner at Willcage@mainstreamai.org.
